Spot prices are specific to a stable AWS Zone ID. On-Demand prices are regional. A captured quote does not guarantee instance capacity. “Last known” means the quote was absent from the latest captured window.

We retain price changes with their source timestamps. Spot charts connect only captured windows; gaps remain visible. On-Demand charts show published price-file snapshots, whose publication time is not necessarily the time a price changed. Historical AWS price files may omit intermediate versions.

Collection runs within a free storage and usage budget. Initial imports and historical backfill take time; collection may pause when the budget is reached. Prices exclude tax, storage, network charges, discounts, and software licenses.
